The Kith East Coast Project takes the collaboration concept far beyond expectations with all the extended family involved. Accompanying the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel Lyte III ‘New York City’ and ‘Miami Beach’ editions, this capsule collection goes to include custom- created headwear, outerwear, shirts, luggage and eyewear that each carry iconic team colors.
Partners like Play Cloths, Just Don, Golden Bear, Stance, Stampd, Herschel Supply Co. and Tina Catherine have all worked closely with Kith to create this carefully curated range of ‘New York City’ and ‘Miami Beach’ themed pieces. Made to complement one another as well as operate individually, each item captures the spirit of the two cities on the same coast with very different paces, but with a shared taste.
Limited quantities will launch at the Kith Miami pop-up store on May 2nd, following with the Manhattan and Brooklyn Kith locations on May 10th. As far as Ronnie Fieg is concerned, it’s just the beginning: “This was supposed to be an intro to the store I want to open in Miami.”
The collection will debut in Miami with special guests to complement the very special products that are going on sale. The Miami pop-up store itself will be divided into two parts, the two adjacent store fronts will have the Miami side open from 11am to 3pm and the next door New York side of the location open from 4pm to 8pm. Each location is outfitted with staple items and installations that make each city what it is. Consider the bar officially raised as May begins. #ECP

The Kith East Coast Project collection considers full coverage from city to city in a handful of unique designs that are linked by their quality as well as their colors. The Madison Windbreaker ($110) debuts for ECP, made from a lightweight nylon, with some eye-catching color blocking, asymmetrical sleeve cuffs and a drawstring hood that gives it a throwback style that’s still on point. The Stanton Sweatshort ($75) is a popular Kith creation that’s made in New York with a slim fit, cuffed detailing, lightweight french terry construction and cotton stripes that’s part of the pack in two colors. The Jefferson Tank ($42) is made from 100% cotton with stripe detailing and a flattering fit for hot weather wear in any location, accompanied by two t-shirts ($45) that are embellished with the freshly created Kith New York and Kith Miami logos and finished with printed neck labels for extra comfort. Don C’s Just Don line has reinvented the hat accessory with their luxurious takes on staple snapback caps ($400 – $450). New York and Miami are represented for the East Coast Project in a handful of ultra-limited exclusives, with the wool and denim crowns complemented by real python skin peaks and premium lambskin leather underbills, with gold plated buckles on matching python straps. Specially created East Coast Project pins are added onto each custom creation to make these a true must-have product.

The Kith x Tina Catherine East Coast Project takes on the timeless Chelsea ($250) frame sunglasses. The frames are hand built in Japan in the same factory that creates the world’s finest eyewear. The matte grey frame’s acetate base,
stainless steel 5-barrel hinges and etched Kith branding on the interior arms deliver superior attention-to-detail. The blue to orange or teal to orange gradient options on the polarized lenses add a unique addition to an essential accessory to take on the glare of a New York summer or Miami living.

Herschel Supply Co. have gained a reputation for quality and value with their expanding range of bag designs. Created with Ronnie Fieg, the East Coast Project backpacks ($95) have supercharged with a 3M trim on the straps for extra visibility and main body, connecting these bags to the reflectivity on the shoes in the capsule collection, plus a chambray lining and leather zip pull. Each bag uses a heavy weight cotton canvas body for true durability and a rubber diamond sewn in on the front. Both colorways offer enough space to accommodate everyday necessities with ease.

Play Cloths represents a new approach to streetwear and adds a special guest to the East Coast Project’s launch.
