The Nike Air Force 1 was the shoe that started my sneaker obsession. Since then many things have changed but one thing still the same, I’ll never forget the shoe that started it all for me. I wasn’t able to get a pair of the Nike Lunar Force 1 but I will. Thank you NIKE! I love the new rendition. I can’t wait to get a pair. If anyone from Nike reads this I’m size 10.5… LOL! I can’t believe it’s been XXX (30) years…
**NIKE Lunar Force 1 Future “THE FUTURE ONE”
In 1982, Nike unveiled the Air Force 1, the first basketball shoe with groundbreaking Nike Air technology. Three decades later, a new symbol of Force has arrived. The Future One.
NIKE LUNAR FORCE 1
The Nike Lunar Force 1 merges groundbreaking Lunarlon technology with the iconic Air Force 1 silhouette for maximum comfort.
Hyperfuse construction creates a nearly seamless upper with maximum ventilation. The Lunarlon midsole provides lightweight comfort never before seen on this iconic shoe.
Inspired by the on-court move, the concentric- circle “pivot” design on the AF1 sole is a signature detail that has remained consistent in the 1,700+ versions of the iconic sneaker.** via NIKE
Nike Air Max has some of the most iconic performance silhouettes since 1987. Three of my favorites are the Air Max 90, 95 and 97. Now for 2013 they have a new Reinvented campaign with a new Nike Air Max 2013. Check out the animated video.
**NIKE
In 1987 a revolution began. Led by the idea that replacing the foam midsole on a shoe with air would make the shoe lighter and increase it’s longevity. This idea paired with the sartorial eye of Tinker Hatfield led to the creation of The Nike Air Max 1 (87), the firstborn of the Nike Air Max family. But innovation didn’t stop there. Over the years the Nike Air Max continued to be updated with the latest innovations and technologies paving the way for new iterations of Nike Air Max featuring the signature visible air unit. From leather and synthetic uppers to full-length air, the Nike Air Max has become more than just a shoe; it’s a cultural icon.
Over the next 25 years Nike Air Max transcended its performance footwear roots. Adopted by communities who took the Nike Air Max from the track to the street, it’s coveted for its unique aesthetic as the ultimate symbol of self-expression. Using innovation and the modern technologies of the day, The Nike Air Max 1 was remixed and reinvented giving way to a succession of Nike Air. The Nike Air Max 90, the Nike Air Max 95, and the Nike Air Max 97 could soon be found on the soles of feet spanning from California to Japan.
The Nike Air Max became a subject of discussion in the news and an authenticator for personal expression. Permeating various music scenes and youth movements, the Nike Air Max family is synonymous with defining a culture for the year for which they are named. The Nike Air Max 1, 90, 95, and 97 have all become so iconic they can simply be referred to by the year they were released, no other reference necessary.
In early 2013 Nike reignites the revolution. Using the modern technologies of today the Nike Air Max family goes through the filter of innovation and is reinvented while, also welcoming a new installment to its series. Updated to a highly adaptable-engineered mesh upper that helps increase breathability while decreasing weight, The Nike Air Max 1, 90, 95, and 97 are newer and better without losing their iconic look. The new Nike Air Max 2013 joins the family. While retaining the traditional sport inspired aesthetics this new model is packed with performance updates. The full-length air bag is more flexible than ever, Nike Hyperfuse upper helps make it lightweight and breathable and the Nike Dynamic Flywire aids in keeping the wearers foot secure. The legend that is Nike Air Max lives on.**
Friday, December 21st, 2012 the highly anticipated release of the Nike Air Jordan XI (11) “BREDS” at most NIKE retailers. Check your local NIKE retailers for rules, etc… Expect long lines… HAPPY HUNTING! LOL!
This will be one of the most sought after collaborations of 2012! I’m referring to the Nike x Medicom full line being released tomorrow December 19th, 2012 at selected NIKE retailers. Keep reading for full details:

With a creative partnership whose relationship dates back to 2002, Nike and MEDICOM TOY come together once again to release a new collection that brings iconic sport classics together with a legendary toy.
Releasing the Nike x BE@RBRICK Lunar Force 1 Collection on December 19, limited versions of the Nike Lunar Force 1, the Nike Destroyer Jacket, and BE@RBRICKs will be rendered new as one collective ensemble.
For this release, two Lunar Force 1s echo earlier projects using modified silhouettes. One version parallels that inaugural collaboration from 2004, while the second carries the palette from last year’s BE@RBRICK release. Both bear special branding on the tongue and insole.
The Nike Lunar Force 1 presents a legendary design remixed with the modern innovations of today. Updating the construction process with Nike’s seamless Hyperfuse technology applied to the upper along with Nike’s Lunarlon cushioning system anchored in the sole offers a lighter ride with unparalleled cushioning made for comfort.
The Nike Destroyer Jacket, with its traditional leather sleeves and wool shell, harkens back to a sort of nostalgia that invites a myriad of felt patches and embroideries.
Both shoes will be available in limited quantities at select global retailers on December 19. A matching set of special edition Nike x BE@RBRICK Destroyer Jackets will be released in Japan only on the same date. The jackets will feature Nike and BE@RBRICK branding gracing the sleeves.
To finish off the collection, a pair of matching special edition BE@RBRICK Lunar Force 1 100% and 400% toys will be simultaneously available in limited numbers worldwide to accompany this release.
About BE@RBRICK:
Since Japan’s toy company MEDICOM TOY brand debuted in 1996 and the BE@RBRICK, a bear shaped block-style figure created from the concept of a digital-like teddy bear, made its first appearance in 2001, art, sport and fashion have been represented on a new canvas on what seems to be an innumerable amount of occasions.
When the Air Force 1 BE@RBRICK toy released ten years ago, the fanaticism of sneakers and toys merged. The first Nike x MEDICOM shoe followed — a Japan-exclusive SB Dunk in 2004. The latest collaboration celebrates a new chapter in sneaker innovation with the Lunar Force 1, once again pairing the creative worlds of toy and sportswear design.**
The rumors must be true these are part of what’s coming out of Nike football for the 1st quarter of 2013 or who knows it may come out late 2012. I’m talking about the Nike Air Zoom Turf Jet Mid ’97 “Brett Favre” which I caught on Clyde aka SneakerboxClyde of ITSB feet a couple of days a go. According to Clyde the shoe is extremely comfortable. I like this black/green colorway.
I cant even begin to tell you how dope this installation was. It’s one of those things you had to be there to really understand. Jeff Staple has been a pivotal part of our street culture. JS brings us season after season some of the must sought after goods on our culture so it was only fitting for him to curate what’s become “THE HOLLY GRAIL” of goods for lots of street culture enthusiast. By the way his booth was DOPE too!
Is that a bottle of Staple water Jeff’s holding in his hands?
The Nike Air Safari Premium NRG “Great Britain” pack came in two colorways black/burgundy/safari and black/black/safari. Being a part time sneaker lover I went for the black/black/safari’s. I don’t alway wear sneakers but these I had to have. Locally my go to sneaker spot Shoe Gallery still had my size. Here are some images of me hanging out in my Nikes.

Saturday, June 9, 2012 was the date, which sneaker enthusiasts/sneaker heads from all over the country gathered at their local Nike Sportswear retailers for a chance to purchase a Nike Air Yeezy II. Many stores resulted on doing raffles to avoid any violence and keep their customers/supporters safe.
I was fortunate to be part of Shoe Gallery’s raffle. They made sure everything went smooth. With plenty of Police presence (nothing happened at all) everything went down without a single problem.
Only one thing I wasn’t happy about, I didn’t win the chance to buy a pair of YEEZY II’s but that’s why is called a raffle…
Thanks to Shoe Gallery for looking out for every one’s well being and doing things as a true class act. Salute to Danny, Elaine, Leo, Remmy, Regie, Saul, Angelo and the whole Shoe Gallery Family!

Starting with the Nike + FUELBAND we are going to hear from Stefan Olander, VP of Digital Sport, and some of the team behind the FUELBAND creation video. Then Lebron talking about the new Basketball experience and training for athletes and last Nike Lunarlon collection revolutionary cushioning system. Nike’s inovation is unlike any other.
NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE) today unveiled Nike+ Basketball and Nike+ Training, two new experiences connecting digitally enabled footwear with interactive mobile applications that together deliver a revolutionary sport experience. First unveiled for running products in 2006, NIKE+ has grown into a community of six million digitally connected athletes and is set to expand with the recent launch of theNIKE+ FuelBand, a wrist-based device designed to track everyday activity.
The new Nike+ Basketball experience breaks down the user’s game to deliver information and measurement, which in turn provides motivation. Nike+ Basketball measures how high, how hard and how quick players play each game.
Nike+ Training transforms a daily workout from a necessity to something fun. The experience fuses the appeal of gaming with high-intensity fitness to create the perfect training companion to a 24/7/365 lifestyle.
The technology in both experiences utilizes a new Nike+ Pressure Sensor built into each shoe that collects information about the user’s movement and then wirelessly transmits data to their phone. It is then translated into different metrics delivering previously unknown information about either their workout or their game.
“NIKE+ allows us to connect the physical world of sport with the social elements of digital to create a better sport experience for every athlete,” said Parker. “It’s about much more than a shoe. It represents a shift for NIKE from product, to product + experiences.”
Nike+ Basketball measures how high, how hard and how quick players play the game via the ‘Track My Game’ mode. The NIKE+ enabled basketball shoes track information on every movement during the game and deliver back information to the user, giving them a basis from which to improve. Messages from Nike Basketball players and coaches provide motivation when goals are reached. The experience also offers ‘Showcase’ mode, a feature that allows players to record a dunk and superimpose their live data on the video, which can then be shared with their friends via social media.
“I think Nike+ Basketball will change the game,” said LeBron James. “Giving every player access to this level of information will have a huge impact on the way players train and play the game.”
“When you’re growing up and playing the game of basketball, your friends are your competition,” said James. “Young players will be excited to track their stats to earn bragging rights or showcase their best plays on video. They’ll be anxious to get back out on the court to improve their stats.”
Nike+ Training is designed to turn working out into a game. Featuring insights from some of the world’s top athletes including Rafa Nadal, Manny Pacquiao, Allyson Felix and Hope Solo, the Nike+ Training experience makes elite level training available to everyone.
The programs consist of a series of short, sharp workouts, designed to help users get fitter, faster and stronger. Each workout is demonstrated on-screen to provide detailed guidance and motivation. During each drill or challenge data and feedback on the workout is delivered to the user’s phone via the Nike+ Training mobile app. Daily programs can be created based on how hard the user wants to train, and the app provides a digital community to share each day’s workouts and challenges with.
Workout statistics can be shared and compared with friends via social networks allowing users to challenge each other and compete to top the Leaderboard.
The first NIKE+ enabled Basketball shoe will be the Nike Hyperdunk+ which will be worn by LeBron James this summer.
The first NIKE+ enabled Training shoes will be the Lunar Hyperworkout+ for Women and the Lunar TR 1+ for men.
All three shoes to feature the new NIKE+ technology are part of the Lunarlon collection, which combines advanced NIKE Flywire technology with a sports specific NIKE Lunarlon cushioning system.
All styles of the NIKE+ enabled footwear will be available and at retail June 29, 2012, in the US, UK, France, Germany and Mainland China.
Dedicated to developing the most innovative athletic products in the world, Nike unveils the Nike Lunarlon Collection: a performance-enhancing range of men’s and women’s training, running and basketball shoes. The creative process began with a collaboration between the Nike design team and the Nike Sports Research Lab (NSRL) conducting pressure platform tests on runners, the team isolated key impact points on the foot.
Additional design inspiration came from observing astronauts walking on the moon. This weightlessness is exactly what Nike strove to capture with its revolutionary cushioning system.
Introduced four years ago, the resulting Nike Lunarlon foam technology achieves this aim by spreading force out more evenly across the foot, providing ultra-lightweight and springy cushioning that helps protect the foot while improving stability and comfort for an enhanced running and workout experience.
30% lighter than standard phylon foam, Lunarlon cushioning is featured across the Nike Lunarlon Collection, featuring sport specific shoes with more Nike Lunarlon foam than ever for a more comfortable and adaptive fit.
Nike’s dynamic flywire provides adaptive support that loosens and tightens with the natural motion of the foot, providing a glove like fit depending on your sports activity.
The Nike Lunarlon Collection includes: the Nike Lunarglide +4, Nike Hyperdunk, Nike LunarTR1 and Nike Lunar HyperWorkout+.
Nike Lunarglide+4
Ultra lightweight and responsive, the Nike Lunarglide+4 is 18% lighter than the Nike Lunarglide+3 at 10oz and helps to maximize performance thanks to soft, springy Lunarlon cushioning and dynamic flywire.
Nike Hyperdunk
Designed to meet the containment, protection and responsive needs of elite players the Nike Hyperdunk (11.9 oz) features basketball-specific Lunarlon cushioning and dynamic Flywire for hard cuts and turns.
Nike LunarTR1
Superior cushioning, ultra lightweight (10% lighter than the TR1.3 at 11.4oz) and breathable make the Nike LunarTR1 more versatile for training across multiple sports. Flywire provides dynamic support for multidirectional movement whatever your workout.
Nike Lunar HyperWorkout+
Nike Lunar Hyperworkout+ features a training specific midsole combining Lunarlon cushioning with dynamic Flywire for responsive support during training. Ultra lightweight, the shoe is just 6oz, 16% lighter than the Nike Lunar Allways TR.

I never go to a release but for some reason I’m really feeling these Foams. Well, as I was making my way to the store through what it seemed to be the worst traffic day of the year, I finally make it. The crowd was huge but the hole thing went down super smooth. Congratulations to Dany and the Shoe Gallery crew for another dope release.
By the way you still have time to get your hands on: Jordan 1 Dave Whites, Kobi’s, Dunks and Lebron 9′s tomorrow February 25th first come first serve… Happy Hunting
I’m a little late on this one but you have to see this “Year of the Dragon” collection press release.
NIKE PRESS RELEASE:
Dragon, the totem worshiped in China for its command of natural forces, the claimed forefather of Chinese people, will have its likeness on a new Nike collection. By launching the specially designed shoes to celebrate the coming Year of the Dragon, Nike reveals a new dimension of creative expression.
In what has become an annual tradition, Nike draws inspiration from the Chinese zodiac for the 11th year in a row. The impeccable attention for detail portrayed in this collection is the best yet. Four models – AIR FORCE 1 LOW SUPREME, AIR JORDAN 2012, NIKE KOBE VII SYSTEM SUPREME and NIKE ZOOM KD IV, were reworked to capture their association with the mythical creature. The collection of shoes represent the pinnacle of performance footwear, celebrating the past and present, with elite franchise styles. Nike designers aligned Chinese culture to cosmopolitan aesthetics and added a touch of novelty to the nobility and greatness of the dragon. The number of four echoes a Chinese idiom that dragons rise out of FOUR seas, conveying best wishes for the Chinese new year.
AIR FORCE 1 is irreplaceable for Nike and the fans. Inspired by dragon robe, the design team renewed its glory with AIR FORCE 1 LOW SUPREME. The cloud-and-dragon pattern on the tongue, plus dragon design on the black silk texture of the sides and upper, evokes memories of royalty in China. The cloud-and-bat pattern on the sole is another derivative from dragon robe, which in Chinese culture implies good fortune. The appeal consummates with the Chinese character ‘Long’ (dragon) on the counter, the suede panel on the midsole, and the wax-finished shoelaces.
Chinese believe that dragon is a holy being, way above the mundane world. In the arena of basketball, Michael Jordan may be the only equivalent to that transcendence. As the largest single-digit number, 9 is appreciated as a sign of utmost power and achievements. Only emperors can wear robes with 9 dragons. A 9-dragon wall was exclusive for the royal family. 9 is also the lucky number for Michael Jordan. In his 9th season between 1992 and 93, Michael set personal and association record. Inspired by this mystical connection, the Jordan Brand design team, retouched AIR JORDAN 2012 for the new collection. The theme color of blue, in contrast with the yellow inner lining, underpins the message of supremacy, accentuated by the dragon pattern around JORDAN Logo on the tongue. The effect reaches its apex in the limited edition packaging, where red background is decorated with golden dragon and JORDAN Logo, bursting with Chinese features. Two cushions and three midsoles are available, offering functional and aesthetic benefits.
Kobe Bryant appreciates Chinese culture, in particular Chinese Kung Fu. The quest for agility and speed has been integrated into his own athletic art. Drawing inspiration from Kobe’s Italian root and Kung Fu movies filmed in that country, the design team rendered NIKE KOBE VII SYSTEM SUPREME with the signature tri-color of Italy. NIKE KOBE VII SYSTEM SUPREME comes with a cushion printed withKobe’s exclusive golden Logo, a statement of invincibility. The matrix design on the upper is a special code, spelling the message for Kobe. With his signature and an animated dragon pattern on the counter, this design is impeccable for the Chinese new year.
Kevin Durant was born in a year of the dragon, and he does demonstrate dragon-like power in the court. As 2012 is the year of water dragon, the Nike Basketball design team incorporates an array of watery elements into NIKE ZOOM KD IV. The signature strap, in combination with the wave pattern on the tongue and the laser-etched blue shadows, creates a rippling effect. The water dragon surrounding the KD logo on the counter highlights oriental association. The whole piece is dominated by light blue and light mango, symbolic of Thunder. NIKE ZOOM KD IV adopts new Adaptive Fit system to deliver the perfect fit.
In addition to the four footwear styles, the Nike DESTROYER JACKET will hit the street at the same time. Also inspired by dragon robe, it features woolen texture with black suede sleeves. The dragon theme is illustrated through the lining, plus dragon claws embroidered both in the lining and the back, set alive by the cloud-and-bat design. The DESTROYER JACKET will be available alone or along with the Nike AIR FORCE 1 LOW SUPREME, both in the limited edition packaging.
Air Max 90′s have been one of my favorites since the very beginning. Now for summer Nike will release the AM90 Obsidian “Denim” with Beach accents. A must have for denim lovers. via MN
Last night was the Miami tour stop for Kanye West and Jay Z’s “Watch The Throne”. The show was insane. As if that weren’t enough Lebron decided to get a pair of Lebron 9′s inspired by Givenchy’s Resort 2012 collection. Great custom job! Enjoy the images.
