Everyday we wake up and have many decisions to make. For me it starts with shoes. Whether I’m wearing sneakers or shoes it’s all about the footwear. Yesterday was no different. I could see it in my head, maybe I was influenced by the men of style series I watched the night before but I saw it all before it even started.
I felt like wearing white Converse. Converse are a simple versatile shoe that can be dressed up or down. Locally, right now Miami has great weather so pants can be worn easily. I chose my Dockers D1 Slim fit, added a Publish Brand short sleeve button down shirt and finished things of with a white belt and a hat. The truth is, it really doesn’t matter what you wear as long as you’re okay with it.
For me, it was the start of another great day…

DJ A-TRACK who holds a residency at LIV Night Club inside the Fontainebleau Hotel will part of the three artist collaboration put together by Converse to launch their spring collection. The spring collection will feature a Chuck Taylor All-Star with bright colors. The other two artist taking part ont he project are Mike Foster of the Foster People band and Kimbra. This being Converse (NIKE,Inc) seventh collaboration makes it an exiting one. Their track and music video is called “Warrior. It will be available for free download on April 5th at Journeys.com/pluginto

This is a first! A 3 way collaboration between underground brand UNDFTD, iconic brand Converse and super footwear retailer Foot Locker. The collection is available right now at most Foot Locker’s and House Of Hoops according to their site. However, before you run to the store call in case they haven’t received it yet!
The collection includes hats, apparel and Converse Pro Leather Hi, Pro Leather Ox, Star Player Hi and Star Player Ox.

Italian fashion house Missoni teams up with Converse for a high end ready to wear sneaker collaboration. Featuring the Converse Auckland Racer, Pro Leather and Chuck Taylor All-Star. The collection will start releasing in October 2012 with the Auckland Racer. Stay tuned for exact dates.
Miami’s own Jose Parla has been the latest collaborator of the (PRODUCT) RED Chuck Taylor All Star Converse for World Aids Awareness Day 12/1. These are limited to 500 pairs. Only First String accounts will release them on Thursday, December 1st.
About the Shoe: Ian Ginoza creative director of special projects for the label recreated Jose Parla’s “Ephemeral Pitches, and Notes, Rhythm and Phonetics” into a pair of Chuck Taylors All Star. The detail was also added to the insoles.
