The last 80 submissions have been selected as part of the traveling gallery and made part of the limited edition New Era INTRODUCING book. Last Friday Futura stopped in Miami for the release of his Hennessy V.S. bottle collaboration. The bottle released a couple of months earlier in New York. Futura is not new to Miami. His works have been permanently here since the opening of the Wynwood Walls. Hennessy hosted a very special Lunch at Wynwood Kitchen. After lunch local artist Sant Love gave us a tour of the Wynwood Walls.

New Era Miami hosted local artist LEBO for their hat release collaboration event. There were only 50 hand painted hats available. My favorite was the blue one with the the embossed wings LEBO logo and hand painted brim. Miami Heat’s Dale McLean and Dexter Pittman, Dan Le Batard of ESPN and 790 The Ticket and Darren Brass of Miami Ink stopped by to show support.
Live art installations complete are always interesting. S.L.A.T.E. at Magic (SLATE) showcased KREASHUN doing a live installation compilation of graphics, stencils and paint. KREASHUN’s duo Monte Montgomery and Jfeather were nice enough to stop and let us take a couple of photos. Visit their site HERE to learn more about them.
I cant even begin to tell you how dope this installation was. It’s one of those things you had to be there to really understand. Jeff Staple has been a pivotal part of our street culture. JS brings us season after season some of the must sought after goods on our culture so it was only fitting for him to curate what’s become “THE HOLLY GRAIL” of goods for lots of street culture enthusiast. By the way his booth was DOPE too!
Is that a bottle of Staple water Jeff’s holding in his hands?

Clark’s new album, “F.ornication U.nder C.onsent of the K.ing”…or F.U.C.K. for short . During the previous art walk I stopped by Workshop Collective gallery for the “Live Suburbia” photo show by Anthony Pappalardo. Iam Your Villain put the event together, it was kind of last minute but we got to see a glimpse into what suburban 90’s lifestyle was through the eyes of Anthony Pappalardo. There is also a book for sale, which you can buy it HERE.

Last night I attended the Furor Moda Fashion show at The STAGE during the RAW:natural born artist The Blend show. For my misfortune I got the event and noticed I left my camera battery at home… I had no idea what I was going to do.
So I started to take some photos to with my iPhone 4. I wasn’t getting anywhere… Then I saw Karla Garcia from KarGarOhhSnap.com. After we both had a laugh about my situation she agreed to send me photos from the event. Thank you Karla!
Furor Moda is owned by Tatiana Torres. With creative make-up and perfect styling the show took place promptly at 10:45 pm. Annie Vazquez, Kelly Saks, Amanda Del Duca, Daniela Ramirez and Steffy were the featured local fashion bloggers on the runway. RAW showcased all generes of art under one roof. There was something for everyone. Here are some images from the show.
