A creamy delicious surprise, that was my experience on my visit to the Hip Pop’s desert truck. I had seen them prior at a social event, but for some reason I didn’t get a chance to experience their artisan bars.
I met the truck during their University of Miami stop. I really didn’t think much of it till I got close to the window. I didn’t expect to find so many amazing flavor choices, including Blood Orange, Mango, Mixed Berry, Mexican Chocolate Chipotle, Mint, Bartlett Pear, Salted Carmel Brûlée and there were more… Made daily, with love, from small handcrafted batches at their micro creamery located in Dania Beach, FL. So after a while of observing the steady flow of customers and their elaborate flavor choices, I decided to try one.
Not feeling adventurous at that moment, I went for a classic strawberry. Adding my own twist to it, I also had the Hip Pop dipped in milk chocolate with Oreo’s (since they didn’t have heath bar)… It was a creamy delicious surprise! No wonder everyone had a smile on their face as they would eat their delicious Hip Pop’s. It was unexpectedly good! I also learned that they use fresh ingredients locally sourced and are gluten-free, kosher with choices of frozen yogurt, gelato or sorbet. Prices ranging from $3 plain to $5 for a loaded Pop.
