A few weeks back I was invited by fitness wear company Lululemon to take part on a Standup Paddle board Yoga class. I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it. There was many reasons why… I started telling my self, it might be a bad idea… I’m not a great swimmer, what if I fall, what if this, what if that…
I was trying not to do it because of all this different stories that… well, made no sense at all. As the days got closer I decided to just go for it! I made the reservation and that was it. I was going no matter what.
If you have been following my social media outlets you might have noticed my recent workout activity. I’ve been fortunate to find one of the dopest trainers, Peak Endurance aka James Hernandez, has been bringing my inactive self back to full motion. Anyhow, his workouts have helped my balance, swimming, posture and many other great benefits.
I mention it because, remember how I was thinking I couldn’t swim, I might not be able to stand up on a paddle board and all that other BS, well, I was able to do it all, plus I was actually able to do a few Yoga poses. We had an amazing Yoga instructor, @Stoked_Yogi from California.
All I’m saying is, stop your “BS” believe systems and go out there and do something new. You will be surprised how the universe puts things in order once you have made up your mind!
Thanks Cristina, Jen, Lululemon and Lululemon Men for such a great time.
