Last night September 27th, 2011 The Fillmore Miami Beach hosted Black Star a duo consisting of MosDef and Talib Kweli. I had never seen them perform live but I tell you it was well worth the two our wait between the opening act set by Black Bobby which I have to say rocked the house hard. Locally DJ D-Up was on hand to entertain the crowd for the next hour and twenty minutes. Then around 10:20 pm DJ JRocc from the Beat Junkies took over. JRocc played a beautiful set taking us all through some of the must memorable hip-hop songs ever put on record. JRocc was super entertaining. At 11: pm Black Star took the stage. It was worth the wait. To my surprise the sound was clear almost cd quality. Mos Def and Talib Kweli sound dope (good) live!
