Jordan Fly Wade | In-Store Event Recap | House of Hoops Dadeland Mall

Yesterday was the in-store event for Dwayne Wade’s new Jordan shoe: Fly Wade. The Fly Wade is the lightest basketball shoe ever made. I didn’t get a chance to try them on yet but I sure will. Nike & Foot Locker House Of Hoops put together an amazing presentation.

For starters Mr. Howard H White spoke to the 50 South Ridge High School students about his best selling book “Believe to Achieve”. With some captivating stories with a much useful message for everyone young and old he broke the ice.

Short after Kevin Hart as Agent H came blazing with humor. He was on a roll. He didn’t break character once. All I have to say is D Wade better thank agent H for making such an amazing shoe… Haha (sarcasm). Really it was a good time.

Also, the guest students participated in a contest for the best design of a Jordan Fly Wade. The contest included 50 students. The top 3 qualified for prices. The overall winner’s design will be manufactured. Only the winner and D Wade will get a pair. Talk about a limited shoe. I have to say the kids were supper hyped. Of course the contest was help at the school a couple of weeks prior…

Also before I forget, all the students got a copy of “Believe to Achieve” by Howard H White VP of Jordan Brand.

Nike keeps looking for ways to influence our youth in the most positive way…

It was an amazing event. I got more from it than I ever would have thought. Word!

A huge thank you goes out to: Nike, Jordan Brand, Howard H White, Kevin Hart, Foot Locker Corporate, The House of Hoops & Foot Locker Staff and everyone who came out to support.
