Friday night I found my self in the middle of food truck heaven. I have to admit the first time I heard about a food truck I thought about those trucks you find in the side of the road next to a construction site. Selling foods that are not part of culinary excellence. Well, now that all has been put in the past.
It turned out to be an amazing taste experience. The food was great and affordable. Not only that, I was able to try more than just one… I Love Good Food. It was a great time overall. I can’t wait to do it again.
I’ve notice Food Truck Meet ups happening all over town. For more information go on Facebook or Twitter and follow @MiamiFoodTrucks…Werd!

Cheeseme was first. I ate the slider so fast I didn’t take a photo of it… I tell you, it was the best slider I’ve ever tried. The small little burger (slider) was packed with flavor. If you ever get a chance to have the Kobe slider from Cheeseme don’t forget to add the grilled onions… Wow! I also had Mac-n-Cheese Pancakes. It was good! Don’t take my Werd for it. Go out and try it for your self.
Also from what I hear the owner of this truck worked for a couple of years at Prime 112 on South Beach. Werd!
Take a look at their site HERE.
Montaco was perfect. The presentation. The taste. I mean who new a simple Fish Taco could speak to you! Nah, it didn’t really speak but it was sure well balanced. No over powering of flavors. Not to spicy but not bland. It was just perfect. The presentation was superb. Also it had like this good vibe about the whole thing. Me and MayMay really enjoyed the experience.
Thank you to the good folks over at Montaco for such a great food experience. I didn’t eat more cause May May stopped me. I was ready to go for the full food coma… Werd!
You have to go out and try their Fish Tacos… Good stuff! Werd!
