Finnegans played host for the 4th stop of the RED BULL “BARGESPIN”. The BMX Park-Barge has been floating down the Atlantic from FT. Lauderdale. Tomorrow it will be floating to Bayfront Park for the last stop of the tour. The team is scheduled to start riding at 5:PM so don’t miss it.
Anthony Napolitan and Daniel Dhers were amongst the talented riders on this tour.
Anthony Napolitan on the left Bio: Anthony’s story goes far beyond a single trick, but XG viewers know him for the double frontflip he landed in Big Air at XG ’09, a first for BMX. A dirt jumper by trade, Anthony holds a bronze in Dirt from XG ’06 as well as the overall Dew Tour Dirt title from ’06, and he is the reigning BMX Dirt World Champion. A master of frontflip and backflip variations, he says he’s been working on new quarterpipe moves for 2010 to try to add to his ’07 XG Big Air bronze. via ESPN Action Sports
Daniel Dhers on the left Bio:Venezuela’s Dhers delivered a dominating run from ’06 to ’08, collecting three consecutive Dew Tour Park titles and three X Games Park medals, including back-to-back gold in ’07 and ’08. He owns some of the hardest tricks in the game, and his heavy-repetition training regimen means he’s incredibly precise and consistent. Fierce competition from an ever-deepening pool of Park talent ended his reign in ’09, but a move to Greenville, North Carolina, for 2010 has Dhers fully motivated to reclaim his throne. via ESPN Action Sports.
